Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on business days are guaranteed to ship the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST or on weekends and federal holidays ship on the next business day. A shipping confirmation with your tracking number arrives as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Processing time for in-stock orders is 1 business day or less. During high-demand periods, processing may extend to 2 business days — we will notify you by email if this applies to your order. All orders ship from our US-based warehouse — no international customs delays, no surprise fees.

💡 How to Qualify for Free Shipping

Your order subtotal (after discounts, before taxes) must reach $35.00 or more. Ordering a 2-pack or 3-pack, or filters for two different fridges, almost always clears the threshold. Free shipping applies to the contiguous 48 states only — Alaska and Hawaii have separate flat-rate fees.

All shipping costs are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. The exact rate shown is what you pay — no hidden fees, no surprises.

Delivery estimates are in business days and do not include weekends or federal holidays. Actual delivery is often faster. These estimates do not include the processing day — an order shipped Monday on a “3-day” service arrives Thursday.

Carriers We Use

We use a combination of major US carriers. The carrier for your order is determined automatically based on your zip code, package weight, and selected shipping speed.

  • USPS — Primary carrier for standard shipping. Excellent coverage including PO Boxes, rural areas, APO/FPO addresses, Hawaii, and Alaska.
  • UPS — Used for expedited and priority overnight shipments and heavier multi-pack orders.
  • FedEx — Used for certain expedited routes and time-sensitive deliveries.
  • DHL — Used for specific regions and as a backup during peak periods.

We do not allow customers to specify a carrier. If you need USPS specifically (e.g., for a PO Box), please note this in your order comments or contact us before ordering. Orders to PO Box addresses are automatically routed to USPS.

Order Tracking

Every order includes real-time tracking at no extra charge. Here is how it works:

Order Confirmation Email: Sent immediately after your order is placed — includes your order number and purchase summary.

Shipping Confirmation Email: Sent the moment your order is collected by the carrier — includes your tracking number and a direct live-tracking link.

Delivery Confirmation: A final notification is sent when your package is marked delivered. Check your doorstep promptly — filters are lightweight and may be placed in less visible spots.

⚠️ Tracking not updating? It can take up to 24 hours for carrier systems to register the first scan after pickup. If your tracking hasn’t updated 48 hours after your shipping confirmation email, contact our team and we’ll investigate immediately.

We proudly ship to Hawaii and Alaska. Rates and timelines differ from the contiguous 48 states due to carrier distance and logistics.

  • Standard to Hawaii: $9.99 flat rate | 7–10 business days
  • Expedited to Hawaii: $19.99 | 3–5 business days
  • Standard to Alaska: $9.99 flat rate | 7–10 business days
  • Expedited to Alaska: $19.99 | 3–5 business days
  • Free shipping threshold ($35) does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska orders
  • USPS Priority Mail is the primary carrier for both states
  • All standard product availability and our Guaranteed Fit Promise apply equally

International Shipping

At this time, SwapMyFilter ships exclusively within the United States — including all 50 states and US territories. We do not currently offer shipping to Canada, the UK, Australia, or other countries.

International customers may use a US-based freight forwarding service. We are not responsible for additional fees, customs duties, or delays associated with such services.

🗺️ US Territories We Ship To

We ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Rates and delivery times vary — contact us for a quote before ordering to these destinations.

Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

📦 Shows Delivered — Not Received:
Check around your property, with neighbors, and in any parcel lockers. Carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered 1–2 hours early. If still missing after 24 hours, contact us with your order number. We will file a carrier claim and ship a replacement at no cost to you.

💥 Package Arrived Damaged:
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damaged item and packaging. We dispatch a replacement via expedited shipping immediately at no charge. You do not need to return the damaged item.

🚫 Lost in Transit:
If tracking shows no movement for 5+ business days after shipping, contact us. We open a carrier trace. If unresolved within 3 business days, we ship a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.

🦅 Stolen After Delivery:
We cannot be responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery, but we handle these with empathy. Contact our team and we will do our best to make it right. Orders over $50 may require a police report number.

Ship to a workplace address, a USPS PO Box, or add specific delivery instructions at checkout (e.g., “leave behind the gate”). These simple steps reduce the risk of missed or stolen deliveries significantly.

Address Changes & Order Modifications

Because we ship so quickly, the window to make changes after an order is placed is very short. Please review your shipping address carefully at checkout.

  • Address corrections can be made if you contact us within 1 hour of placing your order and before 2 PM EST on business days
  • Once a shipping label is generated, address changes cannot be guaranteed
  • If an order ships to an incorrect address provided by the customer, we are not responsible for non-delivery
  • Orders returned to us due to incorrect addresses will be re-shipped at a $4.99 re-shipment fee after you confirm the correct address

To request an address change, contact us immediately with your order number and the corrected address. We will do our best to accommodate before dispatch.
